The first incident happened in the Highlands at Upper Providence community around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

A suspicious person was seen in the neighborhood looking into people's homes.

"The resident making this report is adamant they have never seen this male in the neighborhood before and have not seen him since," the police said.

The suspicious person is described as a thin, white man in his late 30s, approximately 5’7” – 5’10” in height, with dark hair.

In a second incident was the "distraction burglary" which happened on Elmar Circle in Royersford around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, police detailed in the release.

"The suspects lured the homeowner to her backyard and pretended to discuss some potential tree work while another suspect entered and removed multiple pieces of jewelry from the home," police wrote in the release.

A blue newer model Chevrolet Equinox with a large yellow stripe down the sides was spotted fleeing the area, according to the police.

Residents of these communities are requested to check their surveillance camera footage, search for the vehicle or suspects, and contact the Upper Providence Township Police Department and request Officer John Burdsall, or send him an email at 046bur@uprov-montco.org.
